Creative Cuisine Gluten Shreds are made from 100% wheat protein. Nothing else is added`with the exception of the dark has a caramel coloring added to it so that it looks more like beef. They have a texture like that of shredded chicken breats (light) or shredded beef (dark). They are incredible when used in a recipe that calls for shredded meat.
